    Power loss/restore behavior

    カテゴリー: Plugs

Is it possible to change power loss behavior to always retry for Wi-Fi after startup or at least for the plug to turn itself on (ESPHome firmware), without reflashing it? After power loss my plugs don't turn on, because Wi-Fi router isn't startup yet (or it has nothing to do with Wi-Fi and they just don't restore power state).

Other than that, maybe there is an ESPurna profile that is compatible with those devices that I can OTA flash on them? I have a Tuya plug I flashed with ESPurna and it has all the options needed and restores itself after power loss, even without Wi-Fi active.

Unfortunately, power cuts are frequent in my area, so it is a problem for me.

For anyone with the same problem: I haven't got any answers for a week so I just flashed Tasmota onto it (start with tasmota-lite.bin from athom's webUI then upgrade the plug to regular tasmota.bin). It is much more versatile and configurable. Used profile from blackadder (google "athom plug blackadder"). Don't forget to set telemetry period to 10 seconds in options so it sends power metrics more often than every 5 minutes.
