Further to the debacle earlier this year (when the update to IOS 16.6 forcing Athom switches to disconnece trom HomeKit), a new firmware was eventually released which seemed at the time to fix the problem. It certainly worked for my four Athom switches - 2 x CB02, and a 3-gang and a 4-gang wallplate touch switch.
Now I find that the same thing has hapened again. Withing the last 24 hours, all four of my Athom switches have disconnected from HomeKit, presumably as a result of the update to IOS 17 (which will probably have taken a while to filter through to my Home Server. Certainly I can think of no other reason why all four switches should simultaneouisly disconnect - and stay disconnected.
Please note that everu toe this happens, switches can be reset and reconnected (though I have yet to try in this new case. However, that is a very time-consuming procedure when one has multiple switches to deal with. Also, once the witches have been reconnectedHomeKit, I must go through all my automations and update them , and i some cases replace them from scratch. This wasted many hours of my time on the last occasion this happened, and presumably is going to do so again. It really is not acceptable that the links with HomeKit should be so fragile. :-(
This issue has been resolved, if you are running old firmware, please follow the video tutorial to upgrade the firmware
